NCAA V-Ball: Springfield Beats MMA

The NCAA playoff run is over for the North Atlantic Conference volleyball champs from Maine Maritime  Academy.

The Mariners, playing in their third straight NCAA Tournament, lost to Springfield College Friday afternoon 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.

The eight team regional is being held in Providence, Rhode Island at Johnson & Wales University.

MMA finishes the season at 22-7.

Springfield improves to 24-7 and will play Wesleyan in the second round of the regional tomorrow.
