OT/O Reaches Class B North Final

The Old Town/Orono Black Bears  are heading back to another Class B North Region title game thanks to a 4-1 semi-final win over Camden Hills Saturday night. The opponent will be Waterville/Winslow.

Old Town/Orono got goals from four different players - Trent Lick, Cam Tower, Tyler McCannell and Chase Campbell.

The #1 Black Bears improve to 14-5 and are defending state champions.

The opponent is Wednesday night's regional final at Alfond Arena in Orono will be Kennebec (Waterville/Winslow). A Zach Menoudarakos powerplay goal in overtime gave the Riverhawks at 6-5 win over Presque Isle in the other semi-final.

Old Town/Orono and Waterville/Winslow split two regular season games.

NOTE: Class A high school hockey - it will be Lewiston vs St. Dom's in the regional final. Lewiston beat Edward Little 6-5 in overtime to reach a fifth straight regional final. St. Dom's had beaten Bangor 3-0 in their semi-final on Friday night.
