The nationally ranked Bowdoin College women's basketball team put together an 18-0 first quarter spurt and went on to pound Husson University 94-32 in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs Friday night.
The Polar Bears meet FairleighDickinson - Florham (NJ) in the second round tonight in Brunswick.
14 different players scored for Bowdoin with Taylor Choate leading with 14.
Kenzie Worcester led the Eagles with 13 points.
Bowdoin improves to 25-2. Husson's season ends at 19-10.
