The Portland Sea Dogs set team records for runs and hits in a game as they blasted the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 20-2 in a Double-A Eastern League game last night.

Highly touted prospect Bobby Dalbec did as much damage as anyone with three hits, two of them were home runs and he drove in three.

Three Sea Dogs player had four hits. Four other players had four hits each. Portland hit six home runs.

The 20 runs, 26 hits and 47 total bases are all Sea Dogs franchise records.

Portland is now 17-34. The Rumble Ponies, the NY Mets minor league team, now 30-19.
