Silva Wins Third AE Pitcher of Week Award

After tossing a no-hitter against UMass over the weekend, UMaine's Nick Silva has been named America East Pitcher of the Week. It's the third time this spring he's won the weekly honor.

He allowed only five baserunners in the 4-1 win over the Minutemen. Two walks, an error, a HBP and a fielder's choice. Silva had two strikeouts.

The UMass game was non-conference but in America East games, Silva is 2-1 with a 3.74 ERA.

The Black Bears are back in conference play this weekend playing at UAlbany.
