Spekhardt Scores 2, Rams Win Q-F Playoff

Libby Spekhardt and Bella Varisco both scored two goals as #4 Bangor beat #5 Mt. Ararat 5-1 in a Class A North quarterfinal round playoff game.

The senior Spekhardt scored the only goal of the first half but the senior Varisco scored just 23-second into the second half on a penalty kick.

Halfway through the second half, both players had scored again and the Rams were well on their way to the victory.

Reece Turcotte scored the lone Mt. Ararat goal.

Julia Smallwood added the last Rams goal.

Bangor improves to 10-4-1 and waits for Wednesday's winner between #1 Camden Hills and #8 Hampden.

Mt. Ararat finishes the season at 8-6-1.
