Cheverus Beats Bangor 58-44

The Cheverus Stags put together a dominating third quarter at Red Barry Gym Wednesday and sent the Bangor Rams to a fifth loss, 58-44.

The (6-1) Stags led 24-21 at the half and then went on to outscore the Rams 23-8 in the third quarter. Jack Casale and Jesse Matthews combined to score 19 of those points.

Casale finished with 25 points, Matthews scored 19.

For the (1-5) Rams Ian Nagle had 19 points and George Payne added 13.
