The UMaine Basketball Teams Sweep Binghamton
Maeve Carroll logged her 7th double-double of the season, and 6th of the conference season to lead the UMaine women past Binghamton Sunday at the Cross Insurance Center 75-65 in Overtime. Carroll had a career high 24 points, and a career high 15 rebounds.
Freshman Anne Simon had 23 points and 5 steals, while Dor Saar scored 21 points and dished out 13 assists as the Bears improved to 7-4 in conference, and 11-14 overall.
Maine is home Wednesday night against UMass-Lowell
The UMaine men moved in to 8th place in the America East standings winning at Binghamton 82-75 Saturday.
Sergio El Darwich, Nedja Prijovic, and Andrew Fleming combined for 69 points, 22 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the Black Bears to the win, as they improve to 7-17 overall, and 3-7 in the league.
The Maine men are at UMass-Lowell at 7pm Wednesday.
