Tourney Time For UMaine Softball

It's postseason time for America East softball teams. The top six teams meet in western New York for the double elimination tourney that starts Wednesday.

Coach Mike Coutts and his UMaine Black Bears will be the #4 seed (9-7 AE, 20-23 overall). The opening round opponent is #5 seed Binghamton (9-9 AE, 16-23 overall).

The two teams played just two weeks ago at Kessock Field at UMaine. The Bearcats beat the Black Bears two of the three games. The run differential was a total of six for the entire series.
