The University of Maine women's basketball team fell to the Albany Great Danes by a score of 66-50 on Friday afternoon in the America East title game.

Maine was led by senior Sigi Koizar who finished with 14 points in the effort, while Imani Tate had 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists for the Albany side.

The win was the sixth straight victory in the America East title game for Albany as they will now play in the NCAA tournament that begins next week.

The Maine Black Bears will finish their season with an 18-16 record overall.
