UMaine Men Lose To Bearcats 65-54
The UMaine men's basketball losing skid is now five straight games after a Sunday afternoon home loss to Binghamton 65-54.
The Bearcats went on a 14-2 run with about 13-minutes left in the game to break it open. Timmy Rose and Willie Rogriguez led the change with three-pointers.
Maine came back on Binghamton late to make it 57-52 with about four minutes to play but the Bears could never get closer.
Rose had a career high 20 points to lead the Bearcats.
Wes Myers led Maine with 22. No other player was in double digit scoring.
The Bears now sit at 1-7 in America East, 5-18 overall.
Binghamton is 3-5 and 12-11.
