The UMaine football team moves up one spot in the STATS FCS national weekly poll after beating UAlbany on Saturday. The Bears are ranked #23.

More important for the Black Bears is the four-team tie for first place in the CAA.

Maine, Delaware, James Madison and Towson are all 4-1 in conference and starting this weekend there are several head-to-head matchups to determine the CAA championship. For instance, the Black Bears are at Towson Saturday and in the season finale the Bears host (3-1) Elon.
