The UMFK men's title run was a bit more interesting. The Bengals lost in the semi-final round to Florida National University. But, the USCAA ruled a forfeiture and allowed UMFK to advance to the championship game. The forfeit came as a result of the Florida National coach being red carded and then had contact with his team.

In Monday's title game, the Bengals and the New York tied 3-3 through regulation and two overtime periods. Then UMFK won the penalty kicks 4-2 and claimed a second straight championship.
