USM Climbs To #2 In Nation

As the (32-5) University of Southern Maine baseball team gets ready to begin conference tournament play Wednesday, the Huskies are now the #2 ranked team in the nation in Division III.

Coach Ed Flaherty and his Huskies received 10 first place votes after finishing out regular season play on an 11 game winning streak.

USM is the #1 seed in the Little East Conference Tournament and will face #6 Castleton at noon Wednesday to open the tourney.
