USM Holds #3 National Spot In D-III

The University of Southern Maine Huskies will spend another week as #3 in the nation in Division III baseball. USM is now 27-5 with five games left on the regular season schedule.

Coach Ed Flaherty and his Huskies hold down the top spot in the Little East Conference with two conference games to be played.

Former Messalonskee HS standout Jake Dexter continues to have an outstanding senior season as both hitter and pitcher. His .376 batting average leads the team and Dexter's pitching as the closer has him with seven saves and a 1.96 ERA.
