Witches Win 38-20 At Nokomis [HS SCORES]

Brewer's powerful running back Trey Wood rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-20 victory over the Nokomis Warriors Saturday afternoon.

Wood scored on runs of 49 yards, 4 yards and 9 yards.

The Witches dominated play and led 32-0 halfway through the 3rd quarter. That's when Wood and other starters turned things over to the reserves.

A young Nokomis team scored 20 4th quarter points. Sophomore QB Andrew Haining was 9-for-15 passing for 102 yards and 2 TDs on the day.

First year Brewer QB Cody Wood was 5-for-6 for 61 yards.
