Make it back-to-back Class B North Regional titles for Brewer softball. A 12-4 win over the Hermon Hawks Tuesday night sends the Witches back to the state championship game on Saturday.

Senior Libby Hewes pitched a complete game win in the circle and also smacked a three-run home run to lead the Witches. She struck out five batters and survived a bunch of errors by stranding 13 runners.

The home run gave Brewer an early lead but the Hawks battled back to make it 5-4 in the fifth inning.

The Witches would tack on five more runs in their half of the fifth inning. The key hit was a two-run single by Jordan Goodrich. All five runs were unearned because of Hawks errors.
