After getting postponed and rescheduled twice because of weather issues, the annual 'Fill The Alfond Night' featuring the Brewer Witches and Bangor Rams will happen today.

They will drop the puck at Alfond Arena on the UMaine campus at 5:15pm and Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and have live coverage.

Each year, one team gives up a a home game to use the 'Fill The Alfond Night' has a special fundraiser for their hockey program. This year it's Brewer's turn to raise money through sponsorships and ticket sales to help the Witches program.

(4-7) Brewer Witches: Coach Lance Ingerson and his team hold down the 6th and final playoff spot at the moment in Class B North. The Witches haven't had much puck luck lately, losing three straight one-goal games.

Brewer is young, just two seniors. Freshman Tyler St. Lawrence is the goalie with a 2.47 GAA and .913 save percentage.

(6-3) Bangor Rams: Coach Quinn Paradis and his team are #3 in the Heal Points in Class A North. The Rams are coming off home-and home losses to Falmouth last week.

Bangor has outscored the opponent 29-17. The Rams are likely to go with goalie Zach Aldin. He stopped all 16 shots when the Rams shutout the Witches 4-0 in the first meeting between the teams back in December.
