Zone 1 Champs Again
The Coffee News Bangor Comrades are Zone 1 American Legion baseball champs again. A 10-8 win over Quirk Motor City gives Bangor the Zone title and improves the summer season record to 19-0.
The Comrades pounded out 17 hits over the seven innings of play. Jack Corey and Andy Kiley each had three hits. Tyler Parke, Noah Missbrenner, Zach Ireland and Zac Murray all had two hits each.
Cole Daniel, Austin Sheehan and Jake Ketch all had two hits for Motor City.
