
28th Shrine Lobster Bowl Begins In Foxcroft
For the 28th consecutive year, many of the best high school senior football players from last fall get ready for the Shrine Lobster Bowl All Star Game. This year's venue is at Thornton Academy in Saco on Saturday afternoon.
The week begins with training camp and Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft is host site for the third straight year. Players reported to camp yesterday.
Net proceeds from the all star game benefit the Shrine Hospitals around the country who take in children in need of specialized care no matter no matter of ability to pay.
