UMaine baseball gets swept on the road at Stony Brook in America East Conference play on Saturday afternoon.

The Back Bears lose 8-3 and the 5-3. In game one, the Seawolves jumped on Maine pitcher Nick Silva for five runs in the first three innings, including two home runs.

The Black Bears managed just five hits over nine innings.

In game two, Stony Brook hit three more home runs, two by Nick Grande. The Seawolves win 5-3.

The Bears trailed 3-0 early and then got a home run from Danny Casals and a RBI double by Hernen Sardinas. But Maine could never get the game tied.

Peter Kemble pitched the complete game for the Bears and took the loss.

Stony Brook improves to 13-8 (5-0 AE).

UMaine falls to 2-20 (1-3 AE).

The team finish the three games series with one game Sunday afternoon.
