The Bangor Rams advanced to the AA North semifinals with a 50-38 victory over Cheverus at Red Barry Gym on Thursday night.

Libby Flemming scored a game-high 13 points for the Rams. Rowan Andrews had 11, while Abby Fleming and Maggie Cowperthwaite chipped in 8 apiece.

The Rams led 8-2 after the first quarter. Libby Fleming, who knocked down a trio of two-point buckets in the second quarter, helped Bangor extend its lead to 12 at the halftime break. She added five in the final quarter, helping the Rams keep the Stags at bay until the final buzzer.

Meg Kelly led Cheverus with 12 points, while Lauren Jordan and Lillie Singleton had 8 apiece.

Bangor, the No. 3 seed, improves to 12-7.

They'll take on Deering, the No. 7 seed, in the semifinal round. Deering advanced by defeating Windham 41-26 on Thursday night.

Cheverus ends its season at 5-14.
