Make it three consecutive wins for Bangor football after the Rams handled the Sanford Spartans 24-12 Friday night at Cameron Stadium

Bangor racked up 324 yards of offense, spreading the yards between running the ball and passing the ball while controlling the clock most of the night.

The Rams led 14-0 at the half thanks to a QB Max Clark two-yard TD run and a Clark to Colton Emerson two-yard TD pass play.

Sanford scored the only touchdown in the third quarter, a 12 yard TD pass from Jake Beninati to Caleb Sawyer.

Early in the fourth quarter, Rams kicker Cason Markevich booted a field goal to make it 17-6.

The Spartans responded with their second touchdown of the night but missed a two-point conversion.

The Rams finished the scoring with 1:36 left in the game when Joey Morrison carried the ball into the end zone from two yards out to make the final 24-12.

Morrison finished with 31 carries, 119 yards and a TD.

Clark threw for 151 yards on 11-for-20 passing, with a touchdown and an interception.

Both the Rams and Spartans are now 4-3 in Class A.
