Bears Break Through Vs Friars [VIDEO]

Big win for the UMaine hockey team Saturday night. A 3-1 over Providence gives the Black Bears two points in the Hockey East standings and the win stops the 19 game streak where the Bears just couldn't beat the Friars.

Chase Pearson, Brendan Robbins and Mitch Fossier scored the goals.

Goalie Jeremy Swayman made 30 stops in net.

The victory get the Black Bears to 7-8-3 in Hockey East (11-14- overall.

The Friars are 9-7-2 and 16-9-5.
