It's the 111th home opener for UMaine football but it's the first one for Joe Harasymiak as Black Bear head coach. Can the new coach and his team knock off nationally ranked James Madison University?

Depending on which poll you want to look at, JMU is ranked #11 or #7 in this week's FCS national poll. The Dukes are 2-1 and coming off a loss to FBS North Carolina.

The (0-2) Black Bears know all about FBS teams. They have lost to UConn and Toledo.

Here are some of the UMaine vs JMU numbers...

> The Dukes own the series record vs the Bears, 11-5

> Maine's last win against JMU came in 2011. Remember the 'helicopter 2-point conversion' by QB Chris Treister? (See Video Below)

> Despite the two losses, UMaine has yet to have a turnover.

> JMU has scored 164 points in its first three games

> UM's Christophe Mulumba Tshimanga leads the CAA in tackles per game thru two games with 11 per game

> Black Bear receiver Micah Wright plays for the first time after serving a two game suspension. He is 144 yards away from 1,000 receiving yards for his career
