The Bowdoin College women's basketball team has climbed to #2 in the nation with two wins over California schools last week and now sit at 11-0.

The Polar Bears will take on the Husson Eagles tonight at 6pm on the Brunswick campus.

South Portland senior guard Maddie Hassan has been named NESCAC Player of the Week after averaging 20 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in the two wins. She also scored her 1000th career point.

The Polar Bears have played in the last two D-III national championship games and have gone 61-5 over the last two years.
