The Hampden Broncos have had some blow out victories during their 60-game home winning streak. But not Saturday afternoon's win over Nokomis.

In fact, the Warriors gave the Broncos all they could handle in the 53-47 victory.

The Broncos needed all 27 points from 6-foot-5 junior center Ian McIntyre.

Despite getting down by eight points several times, Nokomis went on several runs to close the gap. Hampden's lead was six points after one quarter, seven at the half and five after three quarters.

Junior Zach Hartsgrove led the Warriors with 18 points.

In the end, the Broncos offense working through McIntrye was the difference. And, good free throw shooting down the stretch.

The victory puts Hampden at 9-1. The last home loss was back in 2010.

Nokomis falls to 6-4.
