Broncos Roll To Opening Night Win [SCORES]

The Hampden Broncos showed basketball fans why coaches in the KVAC picked them #1 in the preseason poll, beating up on defending champ Messalonskee 63-30 on opening night.

To be fair, the Eagles lost a lot to graduation from last season's regional championship team.

But, the Broncos looked good in all phases of the game. Senior center Ian McIntyre scored 14 points in the low post. Hampden shooters drained 11 three-pointers. And the defense was stifling all night.

Kory Winch scored 13 points, Tommy Raye added night and Bryce Lausier had eight.

The Eagles struggled shooting the ball. Chase Warren led with 11 points.
