It’s time for you to help us decide again who should be the winner of this week’s McDonald’s High School Athlete of the Week.  We have great weekly performances this week for you to choose from.

Camden’s Cole Anderson again showed off his skills on the golf course, helping the Windjammers to another win.  Anderson shot a 33 through his round and bested his opponent by 18 strokes on route to a 9-0 Windjammer win against Mount View this past Thursday.  Anderson led the way during the event and was the medalist for the day.  He also posted a 33 score versus Medomak Valley to propel the Windjammers to another victory earlier in the month.  He recently wrapped up an impressive Summer qualifying for the U.S. Amateur Championship and winning the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Sugarloaf in August.

Bucksport quarterback Chase Carmichael powered the Golden Bucks to a 48-42 triple overtime win this past weekend over the Mattanawcook Lynx.  Carmichael ran for two touchdowns and also passed for another to give the Bucksport side its first victory of 2017 and to hand the Lynx their first loss.  Bucksport will now look forward to a tough match-up with MDI this week.

The decision is up to you to choose who you think is the McDonald's High School Athlete of the Week between these two great athletes from this past week!

*Voting ends at midnight Wednesday…Winner announced on Thursday’s Morning Pitch!
