Carmichael Wins High School Athlete Of The Week

Chase Carmichael of Bucksport High School has won our McDonald’s High School Athlete of the Week with 80-percent of the total vote over Cole Anderson of Camden Hills to take the voting this time around.

The Bucksport quarterback powered the Golden Bucks to a 48-42 triple overtime win this past weekend over the Mattanawcook Lynx.  Carmichael ran for two touchdowns and also passed for another to give the Bucksport side its first victory of 2017 and to hand the Lynx their first loss.  Bucksport will now look forward to a tough match-up with MDI this week.

Carmichael took home the vote with over 400 submissions this past week.
