The top two teams in Class A North, the Hampden Broncos and Cony Rams, battled for three quarters Monday night. And then the Broncos put on a fourth quarter to remember.

Leading 49-47 to start the fourth quarter, Hampden began a 11-0 run that turned into a 16-2 run and ultimately the Broncos beat the Rams 79-62.

While Cony held Bryce Lausier down to 10 points, the senior guard dished off and grabbed rebounds and finished with a triple-double.

Andy Raye led the Broncs with 30 points. TJ Henaghen added 21.

Cony's Simon McCormick was held to seven points. He did have seven steals.

The Rams defense turned off the Broncos 17 times in the first half but just four times in the second half.

The win improves Hampden to a 4-0 mark.

Cony drops to 3-1.
