Downeast Metro: Hayes Leads By Two [SCORES]

Portland's John Hayes fired a 1-over-par 71 at Kebo Valley Golf Course Saturday to grab the lead halfway through the Downeast Metro Amateur Golf Tournament.

The tournament is a two day event at Kebo and Bangor Municipal Golf Course. This is the fifth year for the tourney.

Hayes won the event in 2017.

Saleeby Stephen is two shots back at +3.

Former Bangor HS golfer Drew Powell  and Cape Elizabeth's Mike O'Brien at three back at +4.
