The Brunswick Dragons kicked off championship weekend with their first state title in 53 years, a 28-6 victory over the Kennebunk Rams.

The Dragons were making their third straight appearance inthe championship game.

And it started with a bang, a 70-yard kickoff return and three plays later a TD run by Ben Palizay. He would score two touchdowns in the win.

Brunswick finishes 11-0 while Kennebunk finished 11-1.
