The Husson University men's basketball team made a furious comeback on Ramapo (NJ) but lost 77-75 in the Tournament in Las Vegas.

The comeback was fueled by Justin Thompson and Justin Martin in the final six minutes. A Martin three-pointer pulled the Eagles within one with six seconds left but could never gets their hands on the ball again.

Thompson finished with 21 for Husson. DJ Bussey had 19 and Martin had 15 lead Husson.

Ramapo was led by Kashaun Barnes with 26.

The Eagles go 0-2 in the national tourney in Vegas and are now 6-5. Ramapo is now 10-2.

NOTE: The Eagles return to Maine and resume NAC conference play at UMaine Presque Isle on January 4th and 5th...The Husson women's basketball team competes in a tournament in Nashville this weekend.
