You can't sweep a doubleheader with any more drama than the Husson softball team did on Saturday afternoon beating Castleton twice.

The game one win including a Jen Jones no-hitter and game two included a walk-off home run.

GAME 1: Eagles softball pitcher Jen Jones did not allow a hit, did not allow a walk and struck out 10 Spartans in the 1-0 win. Jones is now 9-6. Husson pushed across the lone run of the game in the third inning on a Madelyn Fowler bases loaded walk.

Game 2: Tamara Aunchman drilled a three-run hone run in the bottom of the 7th inning to give the Eagles the 6-5 come-from-behind win and a sweep. It was her second home run of the game. Aunchman finished with three hits and five RBI. Jones pitched the final five innings to get her 10th win of the spring.

Husson is now 4-2 in North Atlantic Conference play (14-11 overall). Castleton is 4-14 and 2-2.
