The Ellsworth Eagles won their first eight-man football game Friday night and the Eagles did it in dominating fashion, beating Sacopee Valley 42-0.

Senior Connor Crawford led the way with three touchdown runs and one passing TD to J'Von James.

Crawford scored on a 38-yard run in the first drive of the night.

He added a 2-yard TD run in the second quarter to make the score 14-0 at the half.

The Eagles busted the game open in the third quarter. A James 64-yard TD run. A 20-yard TD pass play from Crawford to James. And, a 16-yard score on a run by Crawford made it 34-0.

Noah Hughes scored when he recovered his own fumble in the endzone early in the fourth quarter.

Crawford finished the night with 122 yards on 18 carries. Jame carried nine time for 98 yards.

The Eagles improve to 1-3. The Hawks fall to 1-3.
