Farnham Tosses 3-Hitter [SCORES]

Bangor's Gary Farnham fired a three-hitter in a 5-0 win over Bessey Motors (Oxford Hills) in a battle of unbeatens at the state American Legion Tournament Sunday evening.

The Comrades improve to 2-0 while Bessey drops to 1-1 in a rematch of the Class A regional final back in June.

Farnham, who was named Zone 1 Pitcher of the Year, struck out eight and walked one. He needed just 85 pitches.

Bangor now plays Coastal Landscape Monday night at 7pm. It's a matchup of the last two undefeated teams in the tourney.
