The 2017 Fitzpatrick Award for Maine's top high school football senior is down to three finalists - Scarborough RB Owen Garrard, Wells RB Nolan Potter and Falmouth QB Jack Bryant.

The three players move on to the Fitzy banquet on January 14th where the winner will be announced.

Garrard was named Maine Gatorade Player of the Year earlier in the month. He rushed for over 1,200 yards and 24 TDs. On defense he had 76 tackles. His Scarborough team won the Class A state title.

Potter rushed for 1,500 yards and 28 TDs and was in on 100 tackles for state champion Wells.

Bryant passed for 1,500 yards and ran for another 1,000 yards. He combined throwing and running for 35 TDs.
