Fleming Scores 30, Rams Beat Witches

The Bangor Rams got 30 points and 10 rebounds from Matt Fleming on their way to an 85-45 win over the Brewer Witches Tuesday night at Red Barry Gym.

The victory puts the Rams at 14-1 in Class AA North. The Witches fall to 7-9 in Class A North.

The Rams jumped on Brewer for 24 first quarter points. Fleming scored nine of them.

Bangor led by 21 at the half and put the game away scoring 31 points in the third quarter.

Along with Fleming, the Rams got 14 points from Henry Westrich and 12 from Isaac Cummings.

Trevor Pearson held the Witches with 12.

NOTE: The Bangor girls team beat Brewer 35-27 to make it a Rams sweep. Bangor improves to 10-5. The Witches fall to 4-12.
