Gaziano Award Lineman Nominees
11 offensive linemen and 10 defensive lineman are up for the Frank Gaziano Award for Maine's best high school linemen.
Gaziano Award officials say the number of nominations is up over past years. A total of $14,000 in scholarships is awarded and that makes it the largest of its kind in the country.
Frank Gaziano was an All-American football player and pro player who founded National Distributors Company in South Portland. Frank had a life-long passion for football.
Check out the list of nominees below. The selection committee is working on the list of finalists and the winners will be announced January 26th, 2019. The committee considers leadership of players on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
