The UMaine men's program is adding two guards to the roster, including former George Stevens Academy standout Taylor Schildroth.

Joining Schildroth is a 6-foot-1 guard from Brocton, Massachusetts, Precious Okuh.

"We are very excited to welcome Precious and Taylor to our program," said coach Richard Barron of the newest Black Bears. "Both players have shown great scoring ability at the high school level. They are tough competitors with deep shooting range." - UMaine Press Release

The 6-foot Schildroth helped GSA win three straight Class C state titles, averaging over 21 PPG. He was a Mr. Maine Basketball finalist in 2018.

Okuh averaged 19.4 PPG in prep school (Bradford Christian Academy) last season.

The Black Bears program lost several players from last year's 5-27 team due to transfers, including Portland's Terion Moss.

Schildroth and Okuh are the fifth and sixth players for the incoming freshman class.
