The Hampden Broncos made it a Friday night sweep over the Brewer Witches. The girls team winning 44-29 while the boys won their game 63-53.

Hampden Boys 63  Brewer 53: The Broncos move to 5-0 in Class A after racing out to a 10 point lead after one quarter and keeping the Witches at arm's length all night.

Ian McIntyre led the Broncos with 16 points despite getting into some foul trouble. Bryce Lausier added 14 and John Wolfington had 13.

Kobe Rogerson led Brewer with 17.

The Witches fall to 2-2.

Hampden Girls 44  Brewer 29:  Bailey Donovan lead all scorers with 16 points in the contest for the Broncos, as six other Hampden players had three or more points in the win.  MacKenzie Dore was the high point scorer for the Witches with seven total for the night.

Both teams struggled out of the gate scoring as it was 6-3 after the first quarter.  Hampden would outscore Brewer 14-7 to close out the half in the second quarter before opening up the lead more in the second half of play.

With the win the Hampden girl's team moves to 4-1 on the season and will next host Bangor on Wednesday, while Brewer falls to 0-4 and will host Cony on Thursday.
