Harasymiak To Join Fleck Staff In Minny

UMaine football coach Joe Harasymiak is leaving Maine to join the coaching staff of P.J. Fleck at the University of Minnesota in the Big 10 Conference.

Fleck is in his second year as Gophers head coach. The Minnesota team is 6-6 and players Georgia Tech in Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit on December 26th. Press reports in Minnesota have Fleck in the second year of a five-year, $18-million dollar contract.

The athletics departmnt in Minnesota has now sent out a tweet welcoming Harasymiak to their defensive coaching staff.

The defensive coordinator is Joe Rossi, who was the the UMaine defensive coordinator from 2007 to 2011.
