Hartsgrove Scores 24, Warriors Win [HS SCORES]

The Nokomis Warriors got off to an 18-4 start and wore down the Brewer Witches 60-41 in a Monday afternoon Class A North schoolboy matchup.

Senior guard Zach Hartsgrove had six of those first 18 points and finished the day with 24 to lead Nokomis. Josh Smestad added 12 points.

The Warriors led by eight at the end of the first quarter, 14 at the half, 21 at the end of three quarters.

Trevor Pearson had 8 and Kobe Rogerson had 7 to lead the Witches.

The win improves Nokomis to 6-5. Brewer falls to 3-7.
