Hartsgrove Scores 37 In Win Over Bangor

Nokomis High School senior Zach Hartsgrove scored a career-high 37 points and his Warriors knocked off Bangor 68-65 at Red Barry Gym Monday night.

Hartsgrove and Bangor's Matt Fleming were in a shootout all night. Fleming finished with 32 points.

Hartsgrove nine field goals, three 3-pointers and 8-of-9 from the foul line, including 4-of-5 down the stretch.

The Rams led by two points after one quarter, by two at the half and one after three quarters. The Warriors closed out 15-11 in the fourth quarter to get the win.

Nokomis runs its win streak to four straight game and they Warriors improve to 8-5 in Class A North.

Bangor falls to 6-5 in Class AA North.
