Hawks Vs Coyotes On 92.9 The Ticket

A big class B boys basketball game takes place tonight as the 13-0 Old Town Coyotes face the 9-3 Hermon Hawks.The defending state champs from Old Town have rolled through their schedule thanks in part to the play of senior Eric Hoogterp who leads the Big East Conference averaging 21 points and 5 assists per game. Despite having the only undefeated record in the east, Old Town is in fourth place in the heal point standings and are trying to get in the top three and get a bye out of the prelim round.

Mark Reed's Hermon Hawks are also looking for valuable heal points to improve on their eighth place spot in the standings. They come into tonight's game on a three game winning streak and are led by Joe Plummer who is putting up 14 points and grabbing 6 rebounds per game. Tyler Beaton also averages double digits in scoring with 12 per game.
