The Husson University men's and women's basketball teams both bested the Thomas College Terriers in their conference opener in North Atlantic Conference play on Tuesday night.

The Eagles led by just one point after the first quarter and five at the halftime break.  Husson would however go on to outscore Thomas College 38-19 in the final 20 minutes of the contest for the victory.  The win gives Husson a perfect NAC conference record to start play, and the Eagles now sport a 1-2 overall record.
