Husson Wins NAC Golf Title

The Husson Eagles golf team is North Atlantic Conference champs - again. Make it three straight NAC titles and 12 in the last 14 years.

Husson's two-day team score was 601, that's 26 strokes better than runnerup Salem State.

Junior Gavin Dugas was tourney medalist with a 147 score (74,73). Teammate Daulton Wickenden was second with a 149 score.

The Eagles now qualify for the NCAA Division III National Tournament in North Carolina next spring.

UMaine Farmington finished in third place. Maine Martime Academy placed fourth.
