Ireland Is Week 1 Athlete of the Week

Online voting is over and Penobscot Valley High School soccer player Lexi Ireland is the week #1 Athlete of the Week.

Over 1,800 votes came in at 929theticket.com and Ireland collected almost 39% of them to win the weekly honor.

She scored her 87th career goal last week, breaking a PVHS school record and is on pace to be the school's first 100 goal scorer.

Bangor HS football player Jonny Lyon, Hermon HS golfer Logan Scritpture and Bangor Christian soccer player Brady Reed all had great accomplishments during the week and were nominated for their efforts.
