The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team beat the Hermon Hawks 4-0 at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Thursday night, September 28th in Ellsworth. The win avenged the Eagle's opening game 3-2 loss at Hermon in the opening game of the season on August 31st.

The Eagles led 1-0 at the end of the 1st Half, thanks to a goal scored by Kelsie Lambert at the 29:21 mark, assisted by Miah Coffin.

In the 2nd Half, Elizabeth Boles scored with 21:29 left, assisted by Addison Atherton to make the score 2-0.

Then with 18:07 left Kelsie Lambert scored assisted by Miah Coffin. The goal was made possible by a beautiful give-and-go from Coffin to Boles to Coffin and then a cross to the far post with Lambert making a beautiful run to score the goal.

The final goal came with 7:45 left, as Boles tallied her 2nd of the game, assisted by Kennedy Lambert.

Jayden Sullivan was in goal for the Eagles and had 8 saves on the night.

Ellsworth is now 8-1 on the season. The Eagles travel up to Caribou to play the Vikings on Saturday, September 30th at 1 p.m.

Hermon is now 5-3 on the season. They play in Old Town against the Coyotes on Saturday, September 30th at 3 p.m.
